Broker Check

Blog

For a while now, we've been trying to "figure out" how to reach our clients on a more personal level.  Posting articles and videos, written by other groups or websites is nice and all, but it doesn't really allow our current or potential clients to get to know us as individuals.  So, we thought we'd start a blog and see how that works out.  As we post, we'd love to hear your feedback.  You can let us know how we're doing, if we are making sense of things and if you enjoy the topics we choose to write on.  We hope you enjoy the ride!

I remember that day very clearly. Our son, Jackson, was sick and needed to see his pediatrician. It was a Saturday morning and they only stayed open until noon. I woke up not feeling well. I would have had my husband, J.C., take him...

How cliche is the title of this blog post? I'm actually surprised you are even reading. It seems like everyone sets New Year's resolutions but nobody ever sticks to them. I guess if I'm going to put myself out there, I will check in a...

I remember those times when I was counting the hours, no more like the seconds, until my paycheck hit my bank account. Living on hope and a prayer, thankfully my paycheck always showed up just in time that I didn’t have but one...

I started my career in life insurance on a part-time basis while still in college, in 1959. There were seven children in our family and Tommy, one of my younger brothers, said he needed some life insurance. He was a high school student...
