What's For Supper?

| April 10, 2019

In most aspects of life, planning is key.  Whether it's your personal life, career or financial future, having a plan and a road map are essential.  As times are evolving, we are seeing more and more women working outside of the home.  And if you are one of those women, then you truly understand the power of planning.  Today I wanted to share some things that have helped me in planning my day and making life a lot simpler.

After a long day at work, the last thing I want to hear is, "what's for supper?".  So, I try to pull things out of the freezer the morning of and make sure I have the ingredients I need to prepare dinner.  That way, when I do get asked the infamous question, I'll have an answer.  I've always been a fan of the crock pot, but recently purchased another kitchen gadget... the instant pot.  If you don't have one, you are truly missing out.  It has made planning meals so much easier!  From browning food, to baking cakes, cooking perfect rice and everything in between, I don't know what I did without it.

Another handy kitchen accessory that I've been loving is the air fryer.  If you've ever fried food before, you know what a mess it can make. With the air fryer, you don't need any oil and your food cooks in no time.  No messes either!  My food always comes out moist and delicious.

All of that sounds great, but what about when you are stumped on what to cook?  No worries, there are a ton of cookbooks out there that are specifically for instant pots and air fryers alike.  They can become part of your meal planning, aiding in making your life that much easier.

Your kitchen doesn't have to be torn apart to create a delicious meal.  With just a little planning ahead and a few gadgets, you can have a delicious meal in no time.  Do you have an air fryer or instant pot?  What are some of your favorite kitchen accessories that help save you time?
